We took Aidan camping for 4th of July weekend. He had a great time (getting into everything)!! He saw daddy and uncle DJ breaking sticks over their knees and stomping on them...so he had to do it too, it was the cutest thing ever!!!

He liked to just "hang out" with us at the campfire at night. He brought his monkey with him to the fire to sit in his chair next to him.

DJ, Tammy, My mom and Dad joined Patrick, Aidan and I for the weekend. We played at the park, walked in the creek, and took Aidan fishing.

We went to the park and went on the Teeter-Totter, Aidan and I rode together and Patrick on the other end. Then Aidan ran to the tall slide and climbed up all by himself (he's a big boy ya know :-) !!!) Of course what he sees daddy do he has to do, so he just had to climb on this weird monkey bar type thing and went on the big playground and he and Patrick drove the bus (you can barley see them with the glare on the glass).

After a while on the playground we headed to the creek to do some creek walking. Aidan just loves water. He did that is until he slipped and fell face first into a huge water hole....he did get up and continue down stream with us and under the bridge though. Him and Patrick were in search of fish in these pics.

He was such a good helper all weekend whether it was helping collecting wood, getting daddy or Uncle DJ a beer, or doing dishes. WHAT A GOOD HELPER BUDDY!!!

Patrick is always in his element when we camp, he would be happy sitting around the fire all day long to make sure it didn't go out! We have to pull him away from it so we can actually have fun too!!!

On the 4th we all went to Springville to watch their fireworks at the town park. I had never actually been to Springville for the 4th of July celebrations...it was ok i guess for a small town. Adian sat with Uncle DJ the whole time.

We decided that we would take Aidan to the Sardinia Carnival in order to give him a break and a change of scenery from the campsite where he was getting a little bored I think. We each took him on a ride which he loved. Uncle DJ and I each took him on the BIG SLIDE, Aunt Tammy decided to brave the ferris wheel (which she HATES, but "anything" for Aidan), the ride he and Patrick went on was too fast for the camera. He did go on the kiddie swings alone and loved every minute of it.
All in all it was a GREAT weekend and we can't wait to camp on that Island on the Kinzua Resevoir with Uncle DJ and Aunt Tammy (we can only get there by boat so that should be fun)!!
